City Health Care Partnership has launched Patient Opinion, an independent, nationwide organisation that wishes to improve the quality of health care by listening to patients opinions, directing it to the service and if required, acting on them.

Better with Books provides self help resources for those with mild to moderate mental health issues. Since the launch in 2006 at Central Library, popularity has expanded the scheme to over 12 local libraries and Hull Prison.
