Safeguarding Team

Our integrated safeguarding team provide support, advice, and training for all our staff in their day-to-day role. This ensures the best possible outcomes for children and adults in need, and those at risk of significant harm.

The team works closely with both children’s and adult social care, the police and a number of other agencies involved in safeguarding children and young people and adults with care and support needs. We have a named nurse, six specialist safeguarding children’s practitioners, three specialist safeguarding adult practitioners and a training officer.
