Promoting Unity and Understanding Across Multicultural Hull
13 July, 2010
The Primary Psychological & Wellbeing Services Team at City Health Care Partnership will be jointly hosting with HANA, a unique networking meeting on the 20th July between 11-1pm at The Annex, Community Enterprise Centre on Cottingham Road, Hull.
Meeting on the day there will be a selection of community leaders, spiritual leaders and Primary Psychological Wellbeing therapists and other providers of health care services. They will discuss the types of services available to those with mental health and wellbeing problems, with a focus on the diverse communities in Hull. Further input will come from Black Minority and Ethnic groups and service users, who will be represented to learn about the services currently available in their various communities.
Sue Altass, Primary Care Mental Health Lead for the Primary Psychological and Wellbeing Services comments:
“This lunch time event is an excellent opportunity to meet with a wide selection of groups from across Hull to tell them about the services we offer to those suffering from Mental Health and Wellbeing issues. Importantly we will have representatives from Black, Minority and Ethnic groups and people who already use our services, so we can not only make them aware of the services we offer, but it is also a great opportunity to get feedback from these groups.”
