Stoptober is a national stop smoking campaign that will be running throughout October. It’s a great opportunity for local people to be part of a 28 day stop smoking challenge that will see some of the 10 million smokers across Britain break their habit for good.

Stopping smoking is hard enough without trying to go it alone, and the Hull and East Riding Stop Smoking Service, part of City Health Care Partnership CIC, has just made it even easier with the launch of their new look website and innovative Quit Online Programme.

Specialists come together for a day to educate parents and children on how to look after their lungs, and the long term benefits of a smoke free home.

Many people would like to stop smoking, but often the pressures, stresses and time constraints of life prevent them from seeking the help and advice they need in order to break the habit once and for all.
