Podiatry Service
Our podiatry service deals with the health of feet and lower limbs, diagnosing and treating problems affecting the feet, ankles and legs to help improve your mobility and independence.
To access the service you must:
- Have a Hull or East Riding GP
- Be over 5 years old
We offer the following services:
- Foot wound care for people with diabetes and/or peripheral vascular disease.
- Routine podiatry treatment if you are considered moderate or high risk and have a medical condition that affects your feet such as diabetes.
- Nail surgery to treat an ingrown toenail (patients must be over 13 years old)
- Diagnosis and treatment of painful musculoskeletal (MSK) foot conditions. These are conditions that can affect the joints, bones, and muscles in your foot. This service is available for all patients in the East Riding and under 13s only in Hull.
- Homeless clinic
If you have a foot or lower limb wound, you can self-refer into the service by calling 01482 247111 and choosing the Podiatry option (Option 3, followed by option 0).

We do not provide treatment for fungal nail infections, veruccas, bunions, non-painful MSK foot conditions or general nail cutting services.
