97% of patients would recommend CHCP CIC

30 January, 2015

97 percent of patients would recommend the service they received from City Health Care Partnership CIC (CHCP CIC) to a friend or family member if they needed similar care or treatment.

Following a successful pilot of the test, CHCP CIC were one of the first community health organisations in the country to go live with the NHS Friends and Family Test on 1st October 2014. The test is made up of two questions, with the first asking how likely a person would be to recommend the service to family members or friends if they needed similar treatment, with a second question asking what was good or bad about the service received.

In the period between 1st October and 31st December 2014 over 1,800 people completed the test, with 97 percent  being either likely or extremely likely to recommend the service.

A district nursing patient had said “I found my nurses to be most kind and caring, they were so helpful. It is always a pleasure to see them and nothing is too much trouble.”

A patient for the Community Gynaecology service had stated “It’s wonderful that we can have this service in the community.”

CHCP CIC have continued to expand their Friends and Family test, in addition to their community health services they have dental practices and GP surgeries that have recently started conducting the test.
