It’s Eating Disorders Awareness week from 2 to 8 March 2020 and Evolve – Hull Community Eating Disorder Service want to raise awareness of eating disorders in men.

A fantastic £1559 has been raised by Charley, aged 19, for equipment and art and craft materials for Evolve Hull Community Eating Disorder Service, run by City Health Care Partnership CIC.

It’s Eating Disorders Awareness Week (EDAW) from 25 February to 3 March and Hull’s community eating disorder service, Evolve, is opening its doors to the public for a day.

Evolve, the Hull Eating Disorder service run by City Health Care Partnership CIC, is opening the doors of its new premises on Thursday 1 March and inviting members of the public, health professionals and partners to come along and see what’s on offer.

Advisors from the Evolve service will be raising awareness of eating disorders in Hull city centre tomorrow.\r\nThey will be providing advice and information outside the Carers’ Information Support Service in King Edward Street from 10am to 4pm as part of Eating Disorders Awareness Week, which is running from February 27 to March 5.

Emma Lewis has been fighting anorexia for 15 years but support from Evolve Eating Disorder Service, run by City Health Care Partnership CIC, is helping her to beat the disease. She has told her story to encourage other people living with eating disorders to get help.

This week is Eating Disorders Awareness Week and Evolve Hull Eating Disorder Service, run by City Health Care Partnership CIC, is holding an open day on Wednesday 25 February to give local people the chance to find out more about their work.

Elena Prosser, an apprentice in City Health Care Partnership CIC’s Evolve eating disorder service, scooped the Health Education Yorkshire and the Humber Advanced Apprentice of the Year Award at a ceremony in Leeds earlier this month.

The number of people suffering from eating disorders who have to travel out of the area to get help will be drastically cut thanks to a new treatment service run by City Health Care Partnership CIC.
