CHCP CIC shortlisted for two UK Social Enterprise Awards

21 August, 2014

We are excited to announce that we have been shortlisted under two categories in the UK Social Enterprise Awards 2014, Health and Social Care Social Business and Prove It: Social Impact.

We have been shortlisted for our work as a social business, working to provide excellent quality local health and social care services and for putting something back into our staff, our services and the communities in which we work, making a significant social impact.

Now in their 16th year, the Social Enterprise awards celebrate the pioneering work taking place within, and in support of, Britain’s social enterprise movement.

Commenting on being shortlisted, chief executive Andrew Burnell said, “We are extremely pleased to have been shortlisted in these two categories, which reflect the priorities for City Health Care Partnership CIC: providing top quality care and having a positive impact on the people and communities we work with.”

The awards will be judged by leaders across the sector including Melanie Mills, Chief Executive, Social Enterprise West Midlands, Andrew Croft, Chief Executive of CAN and Edwin Browin-Mensa, Founder of the social enterprise GiveMeTap.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on 26th November hosted by comedian and broadcaster Sue Perkins at the London Symphony Orchestra St Luke’s.
