Local health care provider City Health Care Partnership CIC (CHCP CIC) has been certificated as an International Standard Organisation for quality management (ISO 9001). This is an internationally recognised quality management standard that provides the foundation for better patient satisfaction, more motivated staff and continual improvement.

The ISO 9001 has eight guiding principles: customer focus, system approach, leadership, continual improvement, involvement of people, factual approach to decision making, process approach and relationships.

An external auditor has confirmed that CHCP CIC meets all of these principles and that its staff can implement the relevant processes to ensure the quality of its services.

Chief executive Andrew Burnell said, “As an internationally recognised standard the ISO 9001 is an achievement to be proud of and all our colleagues should take credit for the part they’ve played in accomplishing this.”
