City Health Care Partnership CIC helps AA Global to boost local jobs
01 May, 2013
A relationship with City Health Care Partnership CIC (CHCP CIC) that started two years ago has led AA Global Language Services Ltd to expand its services in our region, with over 100 new jobs created in Hull.
A contract for interpretation and translation services with CHCP CIC led AA Global to open its first office on Hull’s Marina and it has since gone from strength to strength in the area. AA Global’s chief executive Kirk Akdemir says this has been a springboard to new business and jobs, not only for local translators and interpreters but also for administration and business development staff. ‘Working with CHCP CIC has been a very positive experience for us and has allowed us to go on and bid for work in the wider public sector,’ he said. ‘We are delighted to be able to boost employment in the area as well as offering vital savings for cash-strapped councils and other organisations.’
CHCP CIC’s chief executive Andrew Burnell said, ‘Investing in the local community is a vital part of the organisation’s social business, securing employment through our supply chain by adding value. Bringing jobs to the area on the back of AA Global’s contract with us shows how well this can work.’
