City Health Care Partnership CIC’s chief executive shortlisted for national award

Andrew Burnell, chief executive of City Health Care Partnership CIC (CHCP CIC) has been shortlisted for Social Enterprise Champion in this year’s national Social Enterprise Awards. This is a new category for outstanding individuals within the social enterprise world and the criteria included providing inspiring impactful vision, creating positive change for society and displaying moral courage and vision.

CHCP CIC provides community health and social care, primary and specialist primary health and integrated social care services to people in Hull, the East Riding and Knowsley, Merseyside. As a social enterprise, CHCP CIC invests all profits into services, staff and the communities in which they work. Andrew Burnell is a Cabinet Office Mutuals Ambassador and a member of the Humber LEP. 

Only five nominees were shortlisted for this award, which will be announced at a ceremony at LSO St Luke’s in London on 27 November.
