City Health Care Partnership CIC shortlisted for national award

The shortlist for the UK Social Enterprise Awards 2013 has been announced and City Health Care Partnership CIC (CHCP CIC) are delighted to announce that the organisation is up for Health and Social Care Enterprise of the Year.

CHCP CIC’s chief executive, Andrew Burnell, said, ‘It’s extremely gratifying to have our achievements recognised in this way. Even to be shortlisted for an award like this is fantastic and shows that we are really doing something right, not only in services we provide to people in Hull and the East Riding, but also as a social enterprise reinvesting our profits back into the community. Being an employee-owned business is also a vital part of CHCP CIC and our growing number of staff shareholders shows the commitment of our workforce to our vision and values.’

The winners of the awards, which are sponsored The Independent newspaper, will be announced at a ceremony at LSO St Lukes in London on 27 November, which will be a celebration of the best of the social enterprise sector, raising standards and providing inspiration for others to follow.
