A survey of City Health Care Partnership CIC’s (CHCP CIC) staff shows that not only do they enjoy their jobs, nearly all of them would recommend the services they provide to family and friends.
87% said they would be happy for a friend or relative to receive the care provided by CHCP CIC; 78% expressed high satisfaction with their roles and responsibilities, particularly that they were able to perform their duties to a standard they were pleased with.
91% of respondents felt trusted to do their job,93% felt that their role made a difference and 96% said that patient information is treated with confidence. 86% of respondents were satisfied with the quality of care they gave patients. 7% more staff responded to this year’s survey than last year
CHCP CIC’s chief executive Andrew Burnell was extremely happy with the results and said, “A contented workforce is absolutely crucial to providing an excellent service to our patients. This survey shows that most of our staff are happy most of the time. I am particularly pleased that they feel they provide a good service and that they would recommend CHCP CIC’s care to their friends and relatives.
CHCP CIC staff have the option to become shareholders in the business, giving them a real stake in its success, and I really feel that our workforce is truly committed to making our services as good as they can be.
We are always working to improve, and the staff survey is a great indication on how staff are feeling and were we as an organisation can improve, whether that is better communication, staff welfare and training and development, although we are extremely proud of the results we know that we should not get complacent and strive always to improve the organisation.
We will be working on all the areas that show we can do better, but overall this survey shows that our staff think City Health Care Partnership CIC is a great place to work, and we are very proud of that.”
