City players to present prize to health worker

08 January, 2015

The winner of a Christmas prize draw for colleagues at City Health Care Partnership CIC (CHCP CIC) will get a special presentation on Monday 15 December.

City players Sone Aluko and Liam Rosenior will be visiting Bransholme Minor Injuries Unit to present health worker Natalie Blain with a £50 theatre voucher. City Health Care Partnership CIC is a co-owned business, which means all permanent staff can buy a £1 share in the company. As well as having a stake in the company and being able to have a say in how the business is run, through representatives on the Board, shareholders also get the chance to win prizes in regular draws.

As sponsors of Hull City, CHCP CIC have close ties with the club and were delighted to make the players part of their Christmas celebration. Chief executive Andrew Burnell said, “It’s great to be able to show our colleagues how much we appreciate them and our partnership with Hull City means we can help to make someone’s Christmas extra-special.”

The presentation will be taking place at the Minor Injuries Unit, which is run by CHCP CIC, to promote the new opening hours for the service, which now runs from 9am to 8pm every day of the week treating cuts, sprains and bruises. For more details, go to http://minorinjuries.chcpcic.org.uk/.
