Fifth annual survey shows patients are happy with health care
13 January, 2014
City Health Care Partnership CIC (CHCP CIC) have published the results of their annual patient survey, showing that their patients continue to be happy with their care. CHCP CIC provide community health care services to people in Hull, the East Riding of Yorkshire, Knowsley, Merseyside and parts of North-East Lincolnshire.
1,193 patients took part in the survey, which asked a range of questions about their experiences of using CHCP CIC services. The aim is to use patients’ responses to monitor satisfaction over the past four years and to use their answers to improve patient care in the future.
Of the people who responded:
- 98% had trust and confident in the person they saw (an increase of 16% from when CHCP CIC left the NHS in 2010)
- 92% said they would recommend the service to their friends and family; 13% more than in 2011
- 98% rated the main person at the service good or very good at treating them with care and concern
- 97% said their health professional took their problems seriously.
“These results are a tribute to the hard work of all our staff in putting high quality patient care first,” said Chief Executive Andrew Burnell. “All our staff, across the organisation, are committed to doing the best we can for our patients and I’m delighted that this commitment and dedication is borne out by what our patients say.
“But there is always room for improvement and in those areas where people weren’t completely happy with the service they got from CHCP CIC, we’ll be working even harder to get things right.”
