Grand opening for CHCP CIC at the Beacon
28 April, 2014
On Friday 2nd May, City Health Care Partnership CIC (CHCP CIC) will be holding the official grand opening of their new Business Support Centre at the Beacon in Hull.
The building will be opened by Rt Hon Alan Johnson MP, who will be presenting a commemorative plaque to Andrew Burnell, Chief Executive of CHCP CIC.
CHCP CIC will also be unveiling another plaque as part of their recent receipt of Investors in People Silver accreditation. This will be presented by Andrew Burnell to members of staff.
Following the presentations there will be a chance to have a look around the building before a short performance from Holderness Grange Choir, who have previously benefitted from City Health Care Partnership Foundation’s small grants scheme.
CHCP CIC had previously been renting two separate buildings at Priory Park before moving to the new, purpose-built accommodation which houses their corporate services, including; finance, contracting, procurement, IT, human resources, learning and development, safety and quality, infection control, social business, business intelligence and the organisations directors
Andrew Burnell has said,
"It was more cost-effective for us to build our own headquarters than to continue renting but there are other very important benefits as well.
The new building is BREEAM certified, meaning that it will make a minimal impact on the environment in terms of heating, lighting and water use.
Having all our corporate services on one site means that staff and the general public who need to use these services are able to access them easily and the services themselves are able to work better together.”
