Sandwich company make a real difference

Local butty makers, The Real Sandwich Company have kindly donated £300 to City Health Care Partnership Foundation (CHCP Foundation), with the money going towards their small grants scheme. The scheme offers up to £1,000 to voluntary and community organisations to carry out activities, projects and one-off events which help contribute to the health and wellbeing of local communities.
Brothers, Phillip and Kevin Mayes set up The Real Sandwich Company in Hessle in 1996, and have since expanded to include shops in Hull city centre and Beverley.
City Health Care Partnership CIC (CHCP CIC) are the parent company of CHCP Foundation and have used The Real Sandwich Company to supply catering on a number of occasions, as well as some staff becoming regulars for their lunch time fill.
Kevin Mayes, partner of The Real Sandwich Company has said, “CHCP CIC are a valued customer of ours, when we heard about their charity and the good work they do for our community we were happy to help out.”
Denise Anderton is Chair of CHCP Foundation and has said “We’re very grateful to The Real Sandwich Company for their donation, the money will make a real difference to the local community”
