A concert in Bridlington featuring a leading international violinist is hoping to raise money for two local good causes, East Riding Community Stroke Team and Yorkshire Cancer Research.

St John’s Burlington Methodist Church will host world-famous musician Tasmin Little, who has performed with the Hallé Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the London Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, the New York Philharmonic and other major orchestras. She is noted for her technical virtuosity, velvety tone and irresistible joie de vivre.

Her programme for the concert on Wednesday 6 June will include:

Telemann Allegro

Albeniz Leyenda arr. Jennings/Little

Bach Chaconne from D minor partita

Bach Loure, Gavotte and Gigue from E major partita

Ysaÿe Ballade

Roxanna Panufnik Hora Bessarabia

Tickets are £10 for adults and £5 for Children under 16 available from the Church, by ringing Dave 07540705886 or via the website www.bridlingtonmethodistchurch.co.uk

This is a wonderful opportunity to experience an evening of unrivalled technical and expressive skill and insight from this globally acclaimed and highly regarded solo violinist while supporting two very worthwhile causes.
