Putting Carers on the Map

We are thrilled to announce that Carers Week 2024 is taking place from Monday 10 to Sunday June 16. This year the theme is 'Putting Carers on the Map', highlighting the invaluable contributions of carers across the UK and ensuring their voices are heard loud and clear.
Following the resounding success of the Carers Marketplace Event held last year during Carers Week 2023 the Carers Information & Support Service is again hosting another Marketplace Event on Tuesday 11th June at the Guildhall in Hull between 11am and 2pm.
50+ services will be providing stalls on the day to advise of the information, advice and support available to unpaid carers in Hull.
Julie Bahn, Service Manager for the Carers Information & Support Service advised this event is a direct response to carers in Hull who feedback they wanted to have access to services at one time in one place, ‘we know navigating support is often difficult for carers’ and also ‘you don’t know what you don’t know’, so having all the services together in one venue will provide an opportunity for carers to speak directly with multiple services and also find out about other support available.
