Deli donations to city charity

12 June, 2014

Deli no. one, an artisan sandwich company based in the Pod at St Andrew’s Quay, is helping City Health Care Partnership Foundation by donating a percentage of all buffet sales to the charity.

Staff at City Health Care Partnership CIC (CHCP CIC) have discovered Deli no. one’s sandwich shop since moving to their new Business Support Centre at Beacon Way and this has fostered a mutually beneficial relationship.

“We’re very keen to support local communities and the local area,” said owner Dan Moxon. “I know that City Health Care Partnership Foundation gives small grants to voluntary and community groups to boost health and wellbeing and this is something very close to our hearts. We want to work proactively to help local people and we’re really looking forward to working in partnership with CHCP CIC on local healthy initiatives.”

Denise Anderton, social business and public relations director at CHCP CIC, is delighted that Deli no.one is offering to support the Foundation in this way. “As a social enterprise, CHCP CIC reinvests all its profits into our staff, services and the communities in which we work,” she said. “One of the ways we do this is through the Foundation and all the money that’s donated to our charity goes towards helping local groups and projects.”
