The Expert Patients Programme in Hull is a six week course that helps people with long term health conditions manage their condition and improve their quality of life.

Carers’ Rights Day on 29 November will give unpaid carers in Hull the chance to find out what help is available for them and the person they support.

National Carers’ Week starts on Monday 10th June and as part of this Care-About will be rolling out the Carer’s Information Bus to offer support, information and guidance to various locations around Hull.

Thursday 6th June 2013 will see the Carers Information and Support Service (C.I.S.S.) officially open their new city centre base. The new ‘shop style’ premises is on King Edward Street, and was chosen so that members of the public are able to pop in as they go about their daily business.

Care-About is hitting the road to offer advice, support and information to unpaid carers throughout Hull, as the Carers’ Information Bus visits various locations across the city from 22nd to 26th April.

A brand new service for carers in Hull will be delivered by the Carers’ Information and Support Service (CISS), run by City Health Care Partnership CIC. CISS has been successful in securing a major Department of Health-funded contract to help and support carers across the city.

City Health Care Partnership CIC (CHCP CIC) is pleased to open the doors to the new Carers’ Information and Support Service (C.I.S.S) today for adult carers’ in Hull.

The LGBT Conference will help to raise awareness and knowledge around sexual health in both men and women in the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community
