City Health Care Partnership CIC set to deliver new integrated health services in Bridlington

City Health Care Partnership CIC (CHCP CIC) are all set to deliver the new integrated GP surgery and minor injuries service at Bridlington Hospital for the next three years following a formal tender process by NHS East Riding of Yorkshire.
City Health Care Partnership CIC is extremely well placed to provide this service to the local residents of Bridlington and surrounding areas. Their current service portfolio includes the provision of GP services through four practices in the Hull area as well as providing high quality care from two minor injury and ailment units based at Bransholme Health Centre and the Freedom Centre, Preston Road.
Dr Gina Palumbo, Chair East Riding of Yorkshire Clinical Commissioning Group Chair, said:
“CHCP CIC bid demonstrated the clear evidence of how their clinical approach to integrating services at Bridlington Hospital will benefit local patients. The organisation has a strong track record of providing similar high quality health care services in our area. I know that CHCP is looking forward to working closely with staff, parents and local clinicians to make sure the new integrated service is a success.
“I particularly want to thank PAGER and East Riding of Yorkshire Local Involvement Network (ERYLINk) for their valuable patient-focused input into the tender process.”

NHS East Riding and CHCP CIC are now working with the current provider to meet and engage with the transferring staff who deliver the service, ensuring they are involved and supported throughout the journey of transition.
CHCP CIC places significance importance on gaining feedback of our services directly from patients themselves. The new integrated service is no exception and CHCP CIC will deliver and develop services with patients at the heart of them.
