Resource Boxes
The Oral Health Promotion Department are pleased to offer our Dental Health Resource Boxes that are available to hire FREE of charge for those wishing to promote oral health with children. They are aimed at early years, key stage one, key stage two and those with special educational needs. The resource boxes support the National Curriculum and are tailored to meet specific learning outcomes. For more information on the legal framework for EYFS please follow the link below:

Each resource box may include the following teaching resources:
- Structured lesson plans
- Giant crocodile demonstration hand puppet (COVID RESTRICTED*)
- Large set of teeth and toothbrush for demonstration purposes
- Model of decayed teeth and gum disease
- Healthy foods and sugary foods
- Activity game includes lunch box and tub of sugar
- Role play outfit (COVID RESTRICTED*)
- Dental pictures including tooth decay, plaque, healthy teeth and gum disease
- Plaque off game
- Dental scenery
- Reading books (COVID RESTRICTED*)
