Time to smile

National Smile Month is here again! Since its creation almost 40 years ago, this campaign has aimed to help improve oral health in local communities. CHCP CIC’s Oral Health promotion team works annually with the Oral Health Foundation to promote this national event. The team works closely with schools, nurseries, health professionals, children centres and workplaces to encourage and support the important work of delivering oral health education.

The Oral Health promotion team and health visitors will be at St Stephen’s shopping centre in Hull on Tuesday 16th May to give out advice to parents/guardians of children age 0-5 years on finding a dentist, healthy eating, behaviour, breast feeding and tips on toothbrushing. Children will also be able to meet Wilma, who will be there to make you smile!
